PICTURES OF OUR AVAILABLE DECORATIVE STONE, MULCHES, AND EDGING
Besides the decorative stone and mulches pictured here, we also carry topsoil (pulverized and non-pulverized), horse manure, garden mix, and sand.
Click for larger picture and more information. Please see the price list contact us for prices, delivery, and availability. Our bark mulches are made from real bark, removed before turning the wood into lumber. The colorings are impregnated into the wood, and will last longer than the dyed chipped pallets sold in bags. Our mulches and stones are sold in bulk. This helps reduce the amount of garbage in our environment, and reduces the pollution cause by the creation of the plastic bags. We can load your truck or trailer, or you are welcome to fill your own containers if you need smaller amounts.
PLEASE SEE THE PRICE LIST ON THE HOME PAGE FOR PRICES.
A new stone that is a colorful mix of tumbled and fractured
This mulched is longer-lasting for a natural bark than the hardwood. Works well in areas that are hot, and need moisture to be retained . Safer around annuals than the acidic hardwood.
A hardwood mulch that is treated with a dark-brown pigment that lasts for many years. Fairly new, but our most popular mulch.
This mulch is impregnated with iron to give it its reddish-orange look. It is made with cedar bark removed from trees used to make lumber, not chipped-up pallets. Great for landscaping beds. Not recommended for playground areas due to the possibility of staining clothing.
Our most basic mulch, it is great for larger areas or places where you want mulch to break-down faster. More acidic when fresh, works well to make soil more acidic for rhododendrons, evergreens tomato plants, etc. All-natural, no artifical coloring is applied to this mulch.
A natural, uncolored chipped mulch made of hardwood. Certified as fall-protection in playgrounds, but also makes a nice mulch for planting beds.
New! Black-dyed hardwood for a truly dramatic look! Our darkest mulch available.
Our smaller version of the Large Mississippi River Stone.
A larger version of the 3/4" Mississippi River Stone, this very popular stone matches a variety of siding, due to its various colors. The larger size works well for drainage, and less-likely to be blown by a leaf blower.
A golden-orange version of the red granite, it averages 3/4". It contains "fines" that retain moisture and help the rock lock together.
3/4" rock with fines, for landscaping beds or paths
Our smaller 3/4" Red Granite that has the fine particles removed. A very popular rock in the past, the color helps bring out the greens of the plants in the beds. A cheaper alternative to lava rock.
Our largest Red Granite, there are no fines in this granite.
Our washed stone is an inch and a half wide, rounded. Very light, with white, light grey, and some black stones.
This rock size is 1.5". The most varied rock color of any of our stones, it takes on a darker hue than the Mississippi River stones. A sharper stone than the MS River stone as well.
This crushed limestone has fines, and averages in size 3/4". Good for driveways, walking paths, and as a base under pavers and retaining walls.
A "clean" version of our crushed 3/4" limestone "gravel". No fines, or particles in this stone, which can be used for driveway, or for places that need drainage.
1/4" rounded gravel in various gray shades
